Established in 1979 by husband and wife team Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, Cattelan Italia has grown from relatively humble beginnings to become a truly iconic luxury furniture brand. All the while, this globally-renowned maker has kept true to its roots as a family business, embracing traditional methods passed down through the generations, whilst driving innovations in breathtaking artful design.
A passion for fine craftsmanship courses through the veins of Cattelan Italia. Born into a large family of carpenters, Giorgio inherited his father’s love of and dedication to the fine art of furniture making. Initially specialising in ornate marble tabletops, the business soon expanded with the arrival of the founding couple’s sons, Lorenzo and Paolo.
Crafted using a wealth of exquisite materials including glass, leather, metal, wood, and the brand’s signature heritage marble, the Cattelan Italia range has been fashioned into breathtaking new forms by a coterie of leading Italian designers.
